Mein allererster Post :) My very first post :)

Apostelgeschichte 21 + 22 
Acts 21+22

Während meiner stillen Zeit heute hatte ich eine coole Offenbarung, bzw. hat Gott einfach klar zu mir gesprochen. During my quiet time today I got a cool revelation from God and he really spoke to me. Ich lese zur Zeit die Apostelgeschichte, die ich nebenbei bemerkt liebe, und heute war Kapitel 22 dran gewesen. I am reading chapter 22 from the book of Acts, which I love by the way. Und ich fand es einfach so bemerkenswert, weil erstmal Paulus total gehorsam ist und zurück nach Jerusalem geht, obwohl er weiß, dass die Leute dort ihm nicht wohlgesinnt sind und ihn eigentlich sterben sehen wollen. First of all I think Paul's obedience is so remarkable, because he knows that the people in Jerusalem don't like him at all, actually they want to see him dead.  Naja aber das ist nicht der Punkt ;) But that's not the point ;) (Als kleine zwischen Info: ihr werdet durch meine Posts merken, dass ich manchmal etwas abschweife :P ) (By the way, as you gonna figure out, it's sometimes hard for me to get strait to the point :P)
Auf jeden Fall was passiert, ist ,dass die Leute nahe daran waren Paulus umzubringen (in Kapitel 21) und der Kommandant dazwischen kam und Paulus festnahm, damit er nicht von den Menschen umgebracht wird. Anyways, so the people from Jerusalem are almost killing Paul, but the commander saves Paul and arrests him. Auf jeden Fall fängt Paulus an, in griechisch mit dem Kommandanten zu reden, wovon dieser total überrascht ist und bittet diesen(den Kommandanten), dass er(Paulus) zu der aufgebrachten Menge reden kann. Dies wird ihm gewährt!!! Paul starts to talk in greek to the commander, who is totally surprised, that Pauls can speaks his(the commanders) language. Because of that the commander let Paul speaks, what he(Paul) had asked for(to speak to the crowd.) Am Anfang schreien sie noch rum, aber als sie merken, dass Paulus hebräisch, also ihre Sprache spricht, werden sie still und fangen an ihm zuzuhören. In the beginning they wouldn't listen to Paul, but finally they do.
So, nachdem ich euch jetzt mit soviel Bibeltext gefüttert habe, nun der Bezug auf meine heutige Offenbarung bzw. was ich daraus für mich gelernt habe ;) So after I wrote all that stuff out of the bible, I come finally to the point, why I wrote this post ;)
Ich arbeite ja, wie ihr wisst, im Beauty Arise Ministry und CallingAllSkater DTS mit. As you know, I am working in the beauty arise ministry and callingallskaters DTS. Und heute morgen beim Frühstück hatten wir eine Diskussion über das Thema, was diese Woche den Studenten unterrichtet wird(in einer DTS gibt es unterschiedliche Themen, zu denen wir Sprecher einladen und diese dann dazu unterrichten). Auf jeden Fall verstanden viele unserer Studenten nicht, über was der Sprecher redet, also den Zusammenhang. At the breakfast table this morning we had a discussion about the weektopic from the DTS lecture ( in a DTS you have every week a different topic where a speaker comes and teaches about), so but anyways alot of our students didn't the point, what the speaker this week said. Und Shaun Hover(Leiter der CAS DTS) hat nochmal alles erklärt. Shaun Hover (leaader of Callingallskaters) explained everything again for the students.Was ich damit sagen möchte ist, dadurch das Shaun ein Skater ist, "spricht" er die Sprache unserer Studenten, heißt er hat die gleiche Leidenschaft fürs skaten, wie unserer Studenten. What I want to say with this example is, that Shaun does speak the language of the skaters, means he is as passionate as our students about skating and that's why they can "identify" and that makes it easier for them to listen or better to understand. Oder wenn wir auf einer Fashion Week arbeiten, ziehen wir uns etwas schicker an und tragen Make Up etc. Dadurch können alle Mädchen um uns herum sich mit uns identifizieren und wissen, dass wir die gleichen Leidenschaften haben, wir sprechen sozusagen "ihre Sprache". Or when we work at a fashion week, we dress more nice and wear more make up than the daily one, and through that the models and other girls who are at fashion week can identify with us and know we love the same things, which makes it easy for them to come and ask us something. So we "speak" their language. Ich hoffe, dass macht alles Sinn. I hope what I wrote makes sense. Was ich damit sagen möchte ist, wo auch immer ihr grade seit, auf welcher Arbeitsstelle ihr arbeitet, oder welches Hobby ihr habt, ihr "sprecht" sozusagen dieselbe Sprache wie die Leute um euch herum, wodurch diese sich mit euch identifizieren können und ihr super einfach ins Gespräch kommen könnt. What I want to encourage you, is that whereever you are, or whereever you work or what hobby you have, you and the people around you have something in common, so you "speak" the same language like them and that's why people come to you and ask you for advice, or whatever.
 Ja, ich wollte das einfach mit euch teilen :) Well, that's all for today :D
